Essential Dimensions Of Wellness

 Most of the people in the global scenario are taking great care and attention towards health & wellbeing of people and are devising essential and fruitful plans of accomplishing it. Health & wellness industry has grown in many folds and is one of the most renowned and accomplished industries today. But before jumping the guns here, I think it’s of great importance to know about the various dimensions of a person’s health & wellbeing and how health & wellness coaches can help clients achieve them.



There are five major aspects of personal health.

  • Physical: Physical wellness involves making choices that fulfil our bodies in the best way possible and aligns well with our physical requirements and health needs. This balances all aspects of our physical self, which includes sleep, movement, nutrition, hygiene, management of illness & injuries, etc. If all these aspects are coordinated well with our body’s wants and needs, we can improve our thinking, bodies and mood. Balancing physical activities take time, intentionality and compassion.
  • Emotional: Emotional wellness is a process of recognizing, understanding and accepting our emotions and feelings. It involves the ability to be in the present moment and effectively handle changes and challenges that come our way. Emotional wellness is of great importance as it helps and allows us to experience life in a meaningful way.
